Prayer Meeting at Christ Church
Our prayer meetings at Christ Church, Erith, are a treasured opportunity for members to gather in a spirit of connection and dedication. These events, which are now conducted online via Zoom, give us a place to come together and celebrate God and seek his presence.
Whether you are a seasoned prayer warrior or new to the practice, we invite everyone to join us in this personal and potent form of worship at our prayer meetings, which are intended to be inclusive and friendly. We think that prayer has the ability to influence people's lives, offer consolation, and effect change in both our own lives and the lives of others around us.
The Process
During each session we pray for the leadership and members of the church and every one that works in the many departments. We pray for our communities and the governments around the world..
We also set aside time to exchange testimonies and prayer requests, which promotes camaraderie and support among members. We raise our voices in unison, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers, whether they are for a personal hardship, an expression of gratitude, or a request for help with global challenges.
